Fuel Prices vs Price of Oil (Not linked unless its going up !)?

Now that the price of oil has come down from a mind boggling $150 per barrel and with Brent crude currently trading at $100 per barrel why haven't forecourt fuel prices followed the drop ?

Recently oil was trading at $120 per barrel and was on the up. The price of fuel at that time was sub 100p per litre. Now the price of oil has fallen to just $100 and yet we are still paying a 20% premium on our fuel (120p for diesel).

Someone is making a lot of money somewhere along the line and motorists are getting a raw deal.

So whats going on ? I would like some facts before I put pen to paper and lobby my local MP for answers.

Thanks.Fuel Prices vs Price of Oil (Not linked unless its going up !)?
The oil Companies between them runs a world monopoly so you have to expect this sot of rip off. They are more powerful than any government or electorate Fuel Prices vs Price of Oil (Not linked unless its going up !)?
the garages have just realised that people will pay it and so they wont lower it til they are made to. the govs need to step in but i don't think they can be bothered, they just sit back on their fat arses and let the countries run themselves and take our money for it. this is what we pay them for?
Clearly a case of rip off britain again. It always happens when oil price changes, quick to go up, very slow to come down, good for profits and shareholders, but sod everybody else. Roll on the revolution !
