Get this, oil prices just soared due to predictions that oil prices would soar. I read that, and I think it made my eyes cross.Can there be a compaign around the world to reduce the oil prices by not using our personal motor vehicles?
Nice idea but will never happen. The real issue is that Americans need to wake up and realize that oil companies are making RECORD profits at a time when gas is at RECORD prices. If the war was messing with prices so much, shouldn't the oil companies at least be making more normal profits?





Come on, we are all being lied to so rich oil can get richer.





Drilling for more will make no difference. Big oil knows we are all willing to spend $3.00-$5.00 for gas, so why should they lower the price? They won't.
Won't work. We would all just make up for Sunday's nonuse on other days. The only way to reduce oil prices is to decrease demand for the long term (i.e. by permanently changing driving habits, more fuel efficient vehicles, etc.)





EDIT* Yeah, I've been receiving those spam emails about boycotting gas for one day. What a laugh.
