The House and Senate HAVE to pass everything that Bush DECIDED on. So why put the blame on him?Why do people blame our President for the War, oil prices, economy?
It don't make sense to me why so many people end up Blaming the Person that they elect as President.
And as the President do they not have Staff and aides, personal advisers, Pa's, Pr's, speech makers, secretaries, highest ranking Military Advisers, Analysts, strategists, organisers. YES-men, NO-men, Consultants, to name all the rest would take to much time.....
and yet the Unsatisfied people still Blame the one person out of all this.....
The president.
George W Bush.
even when he is right, they still say he was wrong.....
Would not take that job for anything. Why do people blame our President for the War, oil prices, economy?
that's true. but being the head of state, you appoint the administration that has major influence on the war, oil prices, and the economy. if the president is always faultless and holds no responsibilities or power over the decisions coming out from congress, i might as well vote for a rock...
but then again, in retrospect, the rock would have done much better than bush.

to reply to your scenario... both you and your child would be at fault. you, moreso because it is assumed that the parent has the role of educating the less knowledgeable child.

really?? 4 thumbs down with no counter-arguments from any other repliers?? Do people really think anyone can sit in the throne as the president of the most powerful nation in the world with absolutely no responsibilities as long as Congress does its job??
Bush gets the blame because he, and his puppet-master Cheney, have been lying to us for nearly eight years...about the war, oil (the real reason for the invasion) and the resulting bad economy. I blame all of us who fell for their lies the first time, and for those who believed him and voted for him again, I charge them with collaboration and obstruction of justice! If you ever understand the concept of ';follow the money';, you won't be fooled the second time!
I am playing very big on oil trading, from Morgan Stanly, Goldman %26amp; Sachs on the Wall Street .
I bought millions and millions of barrels of oil when they cost $60--$100 a barrel. I expect to make a kill when I sell. But right now it’s only $145 a barrel. So here is my difficulty:
I already requested my agents spin the media, like: “Oil future looks high, expecting to be in the range of $200 a barrel soon. ” But it does not work price up as fast as I expected.
I have also demanded my agent playing “China demand high” blaming game.
I am glad to see that Congress is ignoring 19 top trade group’s letter demanding an end to rampant oil speculation
Also I am happy to see that the Media did not report it as I desired.
But how do I corner the oil future price up very fast ? fast enough in time so not to get caught ?
Because he is not a Democrat. Democrats have the nasty little habit of blaming everyone but themselves for EVERYTHING! If Bush was a Democrat, the Democrats would blame everything on Global Warming which of course was solely produced by former Republican Presidents.
Because he started the war in iraq, he let the oil companies charge what they want (he's also an oilman himself) and he let the economy go in the toilet by screwing the middle class and making the wealthy wealthier.
And from 2000-2006, the House and Senate were overwhelmingly dominated by Republicans.
The 2006 elections were only a hint of the political nuclear bomb that is about to fall on the GOP.
Better keep your head down.
In every situation man likes to pass the buck, it eases the mind of the people to put the blame on some form of a scapegoat.
Because they don't know the economy has failed because of dollar devaluation and that the Federal Reserve is a privately owned bank.
Because they need a scapegoat. We elected him,did we not.I really get discusted when people who did not vote complain.
It works both ways, because Bush has the power of veto.
