Will crude oil prices go down?

If so how far will they go down. And tell me what might make them go down. Will crude oil prices go down?
no. since oil is a finite resource, the price will only go up as the supply goes down and/or demand increases. you will never see prices lower than their current level again. the price will fluctuate a bit, but overall, the price will only rise. this is true even with alternative fuels being developed. yes, they could be produced for far less money, but since americans have become so passive paying these prices, producers of new fuel sources will want to cash in on this. look up information on ';peak oil.'; it should help you understand whats going on.Will crude oil prices go down?
no=(

were going to be poor =(
yes they will go down, If America does this one Main thing. We need to quit depending on foreign Oil. We got plenty of it to drill for in this Country. We need to tell the Arabs and the middle eastern people. To Kiss Our RED,WHITE and BLUE. American ***... Then Oil prices will go down when we start drilling for it in this country again. I'm 46 years old. I remember when people where bitching about gas prices when it went to $1.05 a gallon. I Would love to see that again.
I really don't believe so. It might fluctuate still quite a bit, but it would be surprising if they went down.

What would make them go down, perhaps, if a new source of oil were found, say, near the US coast.
A sure way to know is to follow Sulfuric Acid production. Oil Refineries use Sulfuric Acid to convert Crude Oil into Gas. The more they use , Higher Gas prices follow, usaully within 3 weeks, the less they use, lower Gas prices, again within 3 weeks. I know it dosn't sound right, but after working in the Industry for over 25 years, I think I got a handle on it.

As for the month of August?...expect higher Gas Prices.
Yeah. They will go down...I don't know when, probably before winter because the summer demand for gasoline will fall if for no other reason, because kids are going back to school %26amp; college. They'll probably go up for winter as heating oil comes into demand. The market will always fluctuate - everyone here is just panicking. I'd say nation average falls about a quarter before coming back up.
Is Bush still the President of the USA?????

Then you have your answer...........HE** NO
i wish it would go down NOW!!!!
No, the conflicts in the middle east will cause the oil prices to go up and unless the Jews move out of Israel the prices for crude oil will remain high
Sure, when we switch to an alternate source of fuel for energy. Right now, the market is being charged every last nickel it will bear. This will continue til we decide we no longer are willing to pay that and stop buying it.
Not as long as greedy Republican special interest groups control the market. With all time record high profits, they still rationalize their greed at the expense of the public.
of course, its all about suppy and demand, that's it, no conspiracy, just simple supply and demand.
Not until Chavez Goes out!
Yes and no - a whole lot.
i thnk it will only rise. coz its getting lesss day by day
I hope they Go higher an higher. my dad owns oil leases makes more money for us. hehe
No.

What might make them go down is peace. But it is non renewable and therefore it has a value that will only increase until it is no more.
when the US is allowed to build its own refineries oil prices will drop in half.
no
Hopefully, but I don't think so.
Since the war stating up between Isreal and Lebanon(i think its Lebanon)the prices will go up,but if it somehow went down then probably about 20 cents.
No, mainly because the demand is increasing and the supply is not stable.
no because as the oil runs out, it will become a rare commidity and prices will continue to rise. Also, with so many conflicts oil outputs will most likely go down, cause prices to rise again.
unless those greedy oil investors deside to do somthing unselfish for the average person like us....and invest some of that green in corn, when pigs eat baccon.
well idon't kno if they will or not.
hell no
I don't think so.

Oil prices will not go down because of the situation in Iraq.

Even though Saddam is out but there is still war within that country and Iraq is one of the biggest producers of crude oil and

it cannot supply the world 100% of their volume during the time when Iraq is still under Saddam rule.

As of now, my estimate is, they are just producing around 40%

from their reserves.
will they go down? eventually

how far? a lot--probably at most a third what they are now

what will make them go down? the supply exceeding the demand

how will that happen? people will find an alternate fuel source

how long will that be? sometime within the next ten years
shud go up..So i switch 2 conservin..
Not while we keep stirring the hornets nest.
they will never go down..not ever they will always stay at hight prices

and keep raising and there is nothing we can do about it
