Bush can not control oil prices. OPEC and large gas companies control them. Bush might have investments in oil (I'm not sure), but so do thousands of other people. And you don't seem to care that they might also be profiting. Many liberals and conservatives make money off oil. It's not a big deal.How much money has the bush family made with the high oil prices?
Your just another finger pointer on todays oil prices and for todays social and economic problems. President Bush doesn't control our oil prices! Your just jealous because he's a successful business man through our capitalistic economy and your an unsuccessful person with socialistic ideas.

About the same amount as anyone that equally invested in the same stocks? If he even invests in oil, I don't know that he does, but it seems the asker is soooo much smarter then the rest of us. Citation?
I'm not taking up for the Bush family but I'm sure they have their hands in it somewhere. What you may no know is the oil price thing is a conspiracy that has been going on for years. The oil industry has been drilling oil well in the Gulf of Mexico for years and a lot of the time the wells were cemented and called a dry hole. At this time it was simply a tax write-off for the companies having the well drilled. I can remember working on one in particular that was a subsidiary of a liquor company. Anyway they drill the wells, call them dry holes and reopen them when the price of oil gets where they want it. Anybody wanting to dispute this please let me know.
Well, let's dissect this question a bit. Your kind says Bush is an idiot who bankrupted an oil company in the early 80's. You say he's so stupid he can't speak,or walk and chew gum. So why now can all of a sudden does he have the brain power to make money during this oil boom?





Idiots don't suddenly gain knowledge, so either he's still an idiot or he never was. Since he can cause hurricanes to attack black people, and cause tsunamis to kill muslims, and can blow up the Space Shuttle upon re-entry (see 2003 conspiracy theories) I wouldn't say the man is an idiot, but that's just my opinion.





Remember this is the man who coordinated the 911 conspiracy and has effectively secured the silence of the millions of people who are in on it with him. Are these traits of an idiot? Even Bill Clinton, who is your GOD, wasn't able to keep everyone in his administration on the bandwagon, and he is the smartest man on the planet (except for being unable to hide affairs with subordinates)





I just thank the lord for algore who invented the internet after flunking out of Divinity College. Yeah, Bush never flunked out of college, but you'd never know that by listening to your media. Oil companies need to profit, so they can continue to pursue new oilfields to keep algores house cooled and heated. $2400 per month in natural gas bills!! YIKES

Not a whole lot. Bush claimed about 750,000$ on his taxes this year, a great deal of that money coming from his pay as president. If you want to get in on the action, buy some Exxon Mobil stock and enjoy the ride. You will be surprised to discover that many stocks out perform the oil sector. I would however be interested in how much the Kennedy's made with their oil investments but no one else seems interested
