Purely in cash terms, how does the price of nuclear compare to coal, oil, gas etc in UK power generation?

In purely cash terms long term UK power generation is either nuclear or renewable. Coal, oil and gas don't enter the equation.

The availability of fossil fuels is finite, the prices have doubled in the last 12 months and they show no possibility of dropping.

Nuclear isn't cheap, it's just cheaper :o(Purely in cash terms, how does the price of nuclear compare to coal, oil, gas etc in UK power generation?
in terms of original cash output a nuke plant will cost about 3 times as much as a ';dirt burner'; However the life span of a nuke plant is roughly 10-20 yrs longer than a coal or oil plant. So with that in mind you have 10 -20 yrs to recoup the initial out put. This should bring the cost down simply for fact of the extra time. Place the costs of the materials into the equation and you now have a variable that is inconsistent and can make the fossil fuel power generators far more expensive than a nuclear plant. In Cash terms??? Nukes will cost less over time. Less maintenance, Longer lifespan, Fuel source that isn't in high demand in private sectors and is therefor more abundant or readily available.
