you do realise that these companies are in business to make profit, the more profit th happier the company. maybe you are mixing them up with charities. you seem confused.

I suggest you buy shares in these companies and enjoy some of their profits returned to you as dividends.
They do rise for them, but the price of oil doesn't go up on peak days (Sat Sun) yet somehow the price rises a few cents? I wonder why that is?
